projects must have project titles.

no cover page, page numbers, conclusion + references.  project lacks authors info.  base map needs streetnames + other recognizable landmarks for orientation + accessibility purposes.  what are the activity nodes on the nodal relationship page?  some text explaining the market linkage would have been beneficial.  what are the blue squares on the linkages and movement systems page? pedestrian market linkage narrative page could have benefitted from some explanatory text, or captions –  for example, what changes are experienced between outside + inside, covered + uncovered, open + closed?  smells, noise, activities etc.  the path is a south-north direction, what influences are the different streets running in an east-west direction?  pity the path did not continue up king george street to wolmarans or smith street.  map before the images.  building height and density page needs work for clearer articulation.  cross sections/elevation pages are very informative.  edge condition page needs more substance, as in what is it saying?
overall a strong submission.  make sure you run a spell check.  use a consistent font and fontsize.  no boxes within boxes.  pull project so that its unified and demonstrates a single group effort and not different authors.   6.3/10

group_2
intriguing cover page + title.  project lacks page numbers.  font + fontsize should be consistent.  what are the activity nodes/ draw points on the accessing the site page?  page text is at times is difficult to follow, as in what are the authors saying?
overall a weak and confusing submission, lacking coherent strucure.  project comes alive in the conclusion, as it sets out the intention: our investigation on the diversities of the urban fabric on our block is yet to evolve. so far we have looked at the factors that highly affect the block and the relationship between the pedestrians and the block. we have also looked at the pulse of the area on separate occasions. we plan to continue our investigation further by researching more on the sphere of influence the building has in relation to the central business district. we plan to investigate the impacts of the diversity of the block in the area further to find out if it has any effect on the type of uses that are held on the block.  now that this has been articulated, the project should spatially demonstrate the intention.          4.3/10

excellent cover page – please enter cover photograph to http://www.gcro.ac.za/photocompetition.  comp closes soon.  excellent layout with a contents page, page numbers, conclusion page + reference page.  well done on the effort + work ethic.  continue to work this way.  photographs must be referenced.  complete what needs to be completed.  sort out text on page 3 and take us further into david’s physical corridors.  how much he pays on the taxi, time spent in transit etc.  think of a map underlay for the conclusion image helping to articulate this: standing on the 4th floor in the colman chambers building facing in a westerly direction over wanderers street.
overall a very strong + beautiful project.             9.3/10

group_4
contents page font is too big + pages have no page numbers.  project team should spend some time on a consistent layout.  movement page needs additional work for clarity.  on the landuses page, is the plan drawn to 1:2000 or the section or both?  section get repeated on the sections page, why?  the sections on this page, where are they taken from?  architecture page is confusing – the text and the images should be narrating the same narrative.
overall a problematic project with potential.  focus + structure is required from the team.  users, sections + massing pages needs work.  sketches page could be enhanced with a map demonstrating where the sketches are, in space + context.  not quite sure what the project is alluding when it states:
in conclusion, block 4 is well located in terms of access to transport and it has a strong association with students as there institutions within the block. the block has a great sense of history which is present in the architecture of the buildings. parts of the block are not as well maintained due to lack of money to invest into its appearance. the blocks that are maintained are due to the institutions which own the building.                4.7/10

group_5
copasetic cover page – but you must invent your own title and substitute that for place making + conventions.  what has sm got to do with the project?  remove sm as this is about zs, vm + mt.  project suffers from a lack of explanatory text, as in who are the people on page 1?  circulation networks page needs work, as does transport movement, landuse pages.  where are the sections, conclusion + references?
overall a good beginning but somewhat lacking submission.  team needs to work together to bring project to acceptable academic fruition.                      4.7/10

group_6
lovely cover image, but where is the title? page 1 text needs to be in 2 columns.  circulation | networks page needs additional work.  sections need to be demonstrated where they are taken, on a plan.  why are some pages blank?
overall an incomplete project with some nice touches here and there, like the physical | visual | permeability page.  top right image on this page could benefit with additional work, in help articulating the edge condition.  a good beginning but the team needs to push it further to get a complete and appropriate project.                      5.4/10
